I can't believe that I forgot so much in my yearly update - hahaha... Anna had braces put on in the fall and then removed in time for Thanksgiving. She'd been complaining about her eyesight so we decided to have it checked and found out that without glasses she can't see 3 feet in front of her!!! A couple of weeks back I took Melanie for her 6 year check up and the doctor said that she needs to eat more! That her metabolizim is so high she needs to constantly eat to keep her nutrition up. Based on her height/weight comparison she is too thin for her height... Ha, told her to clean her plate at dinner!!! It was so funny last night. We're trying to portion control our meals, including Anna's since she'd eat all day long if you let her. She told my mom last night: "my mom thinks she gives me the right food portions, but (whispered) she doesn't, I'm still hungry and I wait 20 minutes, but it doesn't work" - LOL that child cracks me up!
We had a good weekend. The girls spent a lot of time with their cousins, Kaitlyn & Taylor. Hated that it rained alot, which kept the kids indoors. They love playing outside!!!
Well that's about all I have for now, need to actually do some work! Hope everyone had a great Easter weekend!

It's been forever since I've written out here!!!
So much has happend this past year (since I last blogged), sad I know!!! Let's see... Anna's in 2nd grade and Melanie is in Kindergarten. They both played fall soccer in 2008, basketball during the winter and are now playing spring soccer and are already practicing for softball... Anna ended up with braces in the fall and had them removed by Thanksgiving and is now wearing glasses & a retainer... Melanie has lost 8 of her baby teeth - can't seem to keep them!!! As their Christmas present from my Mom and Ted the girls had their rooms redecorated. Anna's is beach themed and Melanie's is nothing more than Drama!!! Anna will be making her 1st Communion in May this year; we are celebrating with Kaitlyn since she is also receiving hers, along with a lot of our friends and family. Melanie will be turning 6 on the 18th - time flies!!! I am taking the week of spring break to spend it with my girls and to get the spring cleaning done, along with all of our doctor appointments. There's alot more, but I can't think of anything else to type at the moment... But I will try to blog more often than the annual update!
